<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a conductive rubber roller having a uniform horizontal to vertical ratio of inner/outer diameter and a uniform cell distribution of a tube of the conductive rubber roller, having low hardness, and free of unevenness in hardness and resistance. <P>SOLUTION: Epichlorohydrin rubber, acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber or a mixture of these is used as base rubber and blended with 0.1-10 parts by mass of liquid polybutadiene having a molecular weight of 1,000-2,000 based on 100 parts by mass of the base rubber in combination with a chemical foaming agent, and a rubber material molded in a tube shape from the resultant blend is foamed and vulcanized by irradiation with microwaves at an irradiation intensity ≤0.5-2.5 kW within a length of an irradiation zone ≤2 m to form a foam rubber layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
