<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the volume of medical waste and effectively prevent an accident due to remaining staples. <P>SOLUTION: This medical stapler has a stapler body 1 provided at one end with a head 3 for ejecting a medical staple and also has an operation lever 2 provided so as to be opened and closed by its rotation with the head 3 side received in a reception section 8 of the stapler body 1. The head 3 of the operation lever 2 and a grip section 11 on the opposite side are usually urged in an opening direction in which they protrude from the reception section 8. In ejecting the staple, the operation lever 2 is rotated in a closing direction in which it is received in the reception section 8, ejecting the staple from the head 3 to stick the staple into a skin (a). Then, both-side needle points of the staple are bent inward to close and suture a wound.
