<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the relative speed of a vehicle after collision with respect to a collided object with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A damper sensor 5 comprises an enclose part 7 within which oil 8 is enclosed, a transmit part 9 arranged relatively movably against the enclose part 7 and transmitting the collision load applied in collision to the oil 8, and a sensing part 11 for detecting the collision load. When an own vehicle R collides a collided object, the transmit part 9 is pushed into the enclose part 7 by collision, and the collision load (the collision load in accordance with the reaction force from the oil 8) is detected by the sensing part 11. Accordingly, even after collision, the relative speed of the own vehicle R with respect to the collided object can be calculated by, for example, calculation based on the detected collision load and the coefficient of viscosity of the oil 8 in the enclose part 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
