<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcasting system capable of investigating audience rating for a specific viewer layer. <P>SOLUTION: A broadcasting station 1 adds receiver identification information of a receiver identification information group of specific viewers having specified attributes generated by a receiver identification information group generation part 12 to program data by a broadcasting part 13 to be broadcast. A receiver 2 extracts the receiver identification information added to the program data of a program selected by a channel selection part 21 from a receiver identification information extraction part 22, generates matching information and transmits the matching information to a data processing center 3 by a transmitting part 25 when the extracted receiver identification information matches receiver identification information of itself. An audience rating calculation part 31 of the data processing center 3 totals the number of pieces of matching information transmitted from a plurality of receivers 2, obtains ratio to the total number of pieces of receiver identification information included in a group of pieces of specific receiver identification information to calculate the audience rating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
