<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent elution of a solid acid from a membrane due to high-temperature and high-humidity steam used in operating a fuel cell, or moisture generated in a cathode in the operation, and to prevent degradation of proton conductivity in a long-time operation of the fuel cell, in an electrolyte membrane for a fuel cell comprising a solid acid having proton conductivity and a binder resin. <P>SOLUTION: By cross-linking the solid acid to the binder resin by using a cross-linking agent capable of reacting with both the solid acid exhibiting proton conductivity without interposing a proton acid group and the binder resin, elution of the solid acid from the electrolyte membrane is prevented without degrading proton conductivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
