<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit suppressing the upsizing of an electrostatic breakdown prevention protective element and improving the electrostatic breakdown preventive function of the electrostatic breakdown prevention protective elements. <P>SOLUTION: The display unit 1 is provided with a glass substrate 2, a signal line 21 and a scanning line 22 disposed on the glass substrate 2, and the electrostatic breakdown prevention protective elements 30 connected to at least any one of the signal line 21 and the scanning line 22. The electrostatic breakdown prevention protective elements 30 are mutually formed at a predetermined distance on the glass substrate 2, while electrically connecting a plurality of low temperature polysilicon layers 31b each having N<SP>-</SP>-type lightly doped region 31a with adjacent N<SP>-</SP>-type lightly doped regions 31a in the low temperature polysilicon layer 31b, and include a resistance region 31 having metallic wires 31c formed so as to contact the N<SP>-</SP>-type lightly doped regions 31a in the low temperature polysilicon layer 31b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
