<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape for protecting aerial distribution lines which combines satisfactory wear resistance and flame retardancy and therefore can decrease the number of the tape winding layers upon its being wound around aerial distribution lines and which also can get rid of the risk of becoming the starting point of sparking and fire due to tracking and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The self-adhesive tape for protecting aerial distribution lines is wound around the joining parts of the antiwear fenders provided as a countermeasure against trees contacting the aerial distribution lines. The self-adhesive tape is made by forming, on one surface of the substrate film 11 consisting of a non-foam flame retardant crosslinked polyethylene film, the flame retardant adhesive layer 12 such as a butyl rubber admixture, and the thickness of the substrate film 11 is set in the range of 0.1-0.3 mm and the thickness of the entire tape is set in the range of 0.3-0.8 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
