PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a reception unit in common and to enable the one reception unit to receive operation signals from a plurality of operation units. SOLUTION: The on-board remote operation system includes the plurality of operation units 20 which are mounted at distant positions and have switches 21 for operation respectively, and the one reception unit 30 which is mounted at a distance from the plurality of operation units and transmits and receives signals by radio to and from the operation units, and the reception unit includes a directional antenna 31 transmitting and receiving the signals of the operation units, and a processing unit 32 for changing communication areas which specify an arrangement direction of an operation unit whose switch for operation becomes operable and changes the directivity of the antenna to the arrangement direction of the operation unit.
