PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method of leather, which is capable of avoiding degradation of unique tactile impression and texture of the leather. SOLUTION: This molding method has: an infiltration step for infiltrating acrylic acid based resin emulsion into a net-like layer L3 of a leather material 1a; a drying step for drying the leather material 1a infiltrated with the acrylic acid based resin emulsion; a moistening step for moistening the dried leather material 1a; and a press molding step for press-molding the moistened leather material 1a at a low temperature.
