PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To house stripped insulating coating in a jig itself.
SOLUTION: The end face of a wire 80 is abutted against an end face controlling surface 54a and insulating coating 84 is cut using a pressing blade 20B and a stationary blade 20A. The cut insulating coating is stripped from a core wire 82. When the wire is thereafter pulled out of a stripping tool, the portion of the insulating coating ranging from the end face of the wire to the cut point is separated and left in a housing chamber 70. Therefore, the separated insulating coating does not fly apart onto the floor or the like. If the housing chamber is constructed of a transparent covering body, it can be visually checked whether or not the chamber is full of the stripped coating. When the chamber is full, a slide piece 52 is slid along a guide hole 38 in the bottom plate 30 to open the area between the end face of the covering body 72 and the slide piece. Since the end face of the covering body is opened, the stripped coating can be discharged (discarded) from the opening in the end face of the covering body into a disposal bag or the like in a stroke just by shaking the wire stripping tool 10.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
