PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effective use of image information less likely to be displayed due to increase in the amount of image information stored in a memory.

SOLUTION: For example, when character information such as email or schedule is input, characters as conversion candidates predicted from characters input by a user are displayed, and a still image having additional information related to the characters as the conversion candidates is detected; thumbnail images of the still image are listed, together with the conversion candidates. In this way, the thumbnail images of the still image related to the conversion candidates corresponding to the input characters can be automatically displayed and the still image stored in the memory can be used effectively. In addition, it is possible to automatically notify the user of the presence of the still image related to the conversion candidates being displayed. This can increase the chances to display the still images forgotten or undetected by the user, and reminds the user of memories.
