<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for backing up order data without modifying hardware configuration of a data management device even when the data management device fails. <P>SOLUTION: The data management device sends payment completion information based on the completion of payment to an order data input device. On receiving the payment completion information, the order data input device specifies and deletes the paid order data from the order data stored in a storage part.
