<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify processing (page count, notification to a user) of a driver to a job which is likely to exceed a print upper limit value, while a print upper limit management function is provided for each user in a phase 2 of ACQ. <P>SOLUTION: This printing system is a print control system managing a print upper limit for each the user. In the printing system, a management server is provided with an upper limit value management means, a processing designation means, and a permission ticket issuing means, and a printer driver is provided with an upper limit value acquisition means, a print page count means, an upper limit value check means, and a processing selection means when exceeding the upper limit value. The count means performs sequential count or lump-sum count.
