PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nanofiber by which sufficient safety is secured. SOLUTION: Generators 10 and 12 of a DC high voltage are turned off and a collector is grounded to discharge the electric charge when detecting the stop of application of the DC high voltage, the stop of operation, or the occurrence of current leak, when jetting a polymer solution from a nozzle 2 to which the DC high voltage is applied to a collector, carrying out the drawing by electrostatic explosion, and accumulating the resultant nanofibers on the collector 11.
