Disclosed is a polymer sheet comprising a bifunctional surface modifying agent disposed onto said polymer sheet, wherein said bifunctional surface modifying agent comprises an amphiphilic polyethylene-block-poly(ethylene glycol) polymer having the general formula: CH3CH2(CH2CH2)m-(OCH2CH2)nOH wherein m is 5 to 24 and n is 3 to 30.
