Isolated terminal flower 1 gene (TFL1) from festuca arundinacea and methods for its use

Disclosed is an isolated polynucleotide encoding a TFL1 polypeptide active in the regulation of flowering in the Festuca arundinacea plant (common name tall fescue). Further disclosed are expression vectors and host cells comprising such isolated polynucleotide. Methods for the use of such polynucleotide and polypeptide are also provided.
