A mitre box is disclosed for guiding the cutting of one or more profiles, and includes a base having an elongate axis and a plurality of profile locating means spaced transversely across the base for locating two or more different profiles parallel to the axis, and cutting guide means defining at least one cutting plane which intersects with the axis at a predetermined angle.
