<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate image writing to an outer surface of a memory medium in a recording device and to allow the image writing function to be widely utilized by general users. <P>SOLUTION: In automatically creating printed character information to be printed to the outer surface of the memory medium, the printed character information is displayed based on the priority.
