<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the security level of a screen monitoring system for monitoring a display screen of a computer by use of automatically and continuously stored monitoring image data of the computer, and ensure convenience of a monitor. <P>SOLUTION: In this USB memory, a system-executing program including at least an identifying program identifying the original USB memory by use of unique identification information given during production of the USB memory, and a browsing program is stored in a storage means. The USB memory is used as a storage medium of the system-executing program and a key for restricting system operation including browsing of the monitoring image data to a prescribed person. By connecting the USB memory to the computer constituting the screen monitoring system, the identification program is started for identification.
