<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the capacitance of a storage capacitor, and to easily design the layout of pixels. <P>SOLUTION: In an electro-optical device, a spacer dielectric film (49) is formed as at least partially overlapping a main part (71a) in a plane view in a second region with respect to a lower electrode (71) of a storage capacitor (70), but not overlapping another part of the main body (71a) placed in a first region. An upper electrode (300) is extended to climb over at least the overlapping part of the spacer dielectric film (49) and the main part (71a) in the second region; and an extended part (71b) is formed as extended from at least part of the main body placed in the second region but not overlapping the upper electrode (300). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
