PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite of a metal and a resin which is light-weight, and is excellent in electromagnetic wave shielding property and sealability, and to provide a manufacturing method for the composite body. SOLUTION: This composite body of the metal and the resin comprises two kinds or more of metal parts, and a resin composition. In this case, the two kinds or more of the metal parts are selected from a metal part made of an aluminum alloy for which a suitable surface treatment has been performed, a metal part made of a magnesium alloy for which a suitable surface treatment has been performed, and a metal part made of copper or a copper alloy for which a suitable surface treatment has been performed. The resin composition is directly bonded to the two kinds or more of the metal parts by injection-molding, and of which the main component is a polyphenylene sulfide based resin or a polybutylene terephthalate based resin.
