PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device capable of materializing cooling of a liquid crystal panel or the like while dissolving a mote and dust problem caused upon light transmission in a liquid crystal display equipment. SOLUTION: The cooling device is configured such that air in a liquid crystal display apparatus in which the flow passage from the outside to a heat generater such as a liquid crystal panel or a polarizing plate is intercepted is cooled as a cooling wind by a first cooling means and the cooled air is ejected against the heat generator by a second cooling means to cool the heat generator by heat absorption, with respect to the heat generation in the liquid crystal panel or the polarizing plate due to an optical source.
