PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water discharge head pulling-out type faucet capable of preventing a surface coating on a decorative face such as a plated face in an outer peripheral fringe part on a rear surface of a water discharge head from being peeled off every time the water discharge head is mounted or dismounted or the water discharge head hits a front face on a holder side due to play caused while the water discharge head is held by a holder. SOLUTION: In this water discharge head pulling-out type faucet 10 holding the water discharge head 16 together with a hose 20 by the holder (a basic part of a water discharge pipe) 22 to pull it out, a stopper projection 38 having such height of protrusion that prevents hitting of the water discharge head 16 on a front face 24 of the basic part 22 of the water discharge pipe while the water discharge head 16 is pressed in and hitting of the outer peripheral fringe part 36 on the front face 24 is provided on the rear surface 26 of the water discharge head 16 and at a position between the outer peripheral fringe part 36 and a female fitting part 32.
