PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save energy without requiring any complicated manipulation from a user in an air conditioner, by which automatic air conditioning control for keeping a temperature inside a cabin at a set temperature can be carried out, for a vehicle. SOLUTION: In a hybrid automobile 20 having an air conditioning unit 90, when an A/C automatic switch 103 is turned on and an A/C on/off switch 101 is turned off, operation of a compressor 95 constituting a freezing cycle 93 is allowed if an ECO switch 88 is turned off (S140), while operation of the compressor 95 is prohibited if the ECO switch 88 is turned on (S150).
