PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover lock mechanism for a monitoring video camera such that a cover can be fitted without any tool and can not easily be removed by a third person. SOLUTION: A lock spring 1 which has a projection part 1b at its tip and can be deformed toward the center of a camera main body part is provided to the flank of the camera main body part 6, and a cover hole 4b into which the projection part 1b of the lock spring can be inserted is bored in the peripheral surface of the cover 4. Then the camera main body part 6 is covered with the cover 4 and the lock spring 1 is deformed to the inner side of the cover 4 to fit the projection part 1b into the cover hole 4b from inside the cover 4, thereby fixing the cover 4 to the camera main body part 6.
