PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system capable of providing appropriate information to a driver for reducing potential risks, associated with a right turn at an intersection. SOLUTION: An on-road device 1 receives from a traffic signal 3 traffic information, including information on traffic controls, such as, speed limit and lane control, and information on right-turn response intersections for determining whether each intersection is the one where the right turn response control is permitted, and sends the information to an on-vehicle device 2. The on-vehicle device 2 performs a correction so that the cost for a right turn of a link that flows into an intersection where the right turn response control that is permitted becomes small, based on the received information on right turn response intersections, searches for a guidance route to a destination, and displays on a monitor the image data, in which the guidance route is superimposed on a road map.
