PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position estimating system capable of suppressing floor error with a simple facility and by an installation method of the facility, when a method of estimating a position from the received power strength of the electric wave is used as a position estimating method. SOLUTION: This position estimating system includes a mobile radio terminal 1, a plurality of fixed position estimating nodes 2a, 2b and 2c that are installed in each of second floor and later of a hierarchical building 4 and measure the received electric wave strength of a position beacon signal transmitted from the mobile radio terminal 1, and a position estimating server 3 for estimating the position of the mobile radio terminal 1 based on the information on the received electric wave strength measured by the plurality of fixed position estimating nodes 2a, 2b and 2c.
