PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a preform free from wrinkles by preventing the diameter of a molten resin from becoming fine and the drawdown of the molten resin, regardless of the properties of a resin material. SOLUTION: This preform compression-molding apparatus is equipped with an extruder 50 for upward extruding the molten resin 61' from a discharge port 7 and a cutting and support part 10 provided above the extruder 50 to laterally support the molten resin 61' extruded upward from the extruder 50 and cutting the molten resin 61' to form the molten resin lumps 61. A resin supply rotary (feed mechanism) 25 for feeding the molten resin lumps 61 laterally supported by the cutting and support part 10 to the region above the female mold 31 of a mold 30 is provided above the extruder 50.
