PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal hand tool particularly having excellent displaying effect and capable of maintaining the displaying effect for a long time, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The metal hand tool has a body, the outer surface of the body is provided with a printing layer, and further, the region of the printing layer is provided with a mark. An electroplate layer is electroplated on the external surface of the mark and the outer surface of the body except the printing layer, and the outer surface of the electroplate layer is projected from the outer surface of the printing layer.
