PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing sintered ore, capable of maintaining a good gas permeability of a feedstock-filled layer in a sintering machine while improving productivity and product yield of the sintered ore. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the sintered ore, among sintering feedstocks comprising an iron-containing raw material, an auxiliary material and a carbonaceous material, a finely powdered iron-containing raw material containing≥60 mass% particles sized≤1 mm or a sintering feedstock comprising the iron-containing raw material is mixed and granulated into a pellet with addition of water. Meanwhile, sintering feedstocks comprising other iron-containing raw materials are mixed and granulated into pseudo-particles with addition of water, and the pseudo-particles are mixed with the pellet and charged into the sintering machine to be sintered. Here, the pellet is subjected to a drying treatment to achieve a moisture content of≤4 mass% and further subjected to a water addition treatment to achieve a moisture content of 4.5-8 mass% before being compounded and mixed with the pseudo-particles.
