PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical bending device for a bar material, which is smaller and lighter than a device based on a traditional technique. SOLUTION: The bending device comprises a forming shoe with a saddle for holding a work on the starting point side of a bending zone, a pin which is attached to a frame and pivots the forming shoe so as to rotate eccentrically, a roller rotatably pivoted near the circumferential center of the forming shoe, a push bar which transmits pushing force from an actuator to the roller, a settling plate which fixes the push bar and also has a guide roller rotatably pivoted to hold the work on the finishing end side of bending, and the actuator which is attached to the frame and has a fixture to fix the settling plate.
