PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning tool for allowing the length of a handle to be adjusted and capable of maintaining the length of the handle constant. SOLUTION: The tool includes a handle 2 the length of which can be adjusted and a cleaning member 3 which is removably fixed to the handle 2. The handle 2 has an inner cylinder 4 and an outer cylinder 5 which are mutually slidable. The outer cylinder 5 is provided with an engaging means 8, the inner cylinder 4 is provided with engaged means with which the engaging means 8 is engaged.
