PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter having a simple structure having the appearance of a plank. SOLUTION: The counter 12 includes a top panel 121 and a front apron 122 extending downward from the front edge. A side panel 13 made of the same material as the top panel 121 and the front apron 122 is jointed flush with end surfaces 121a, 122a, 123a of the top panel and the front apron. A jointed border 20 between the side panel, and the top panel and front apron is positioned on the side surface of the counter, and the side panel 13 is so formed as to have a length from the lower surface of the top panel to the lower end of the front apron.
