PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply transforming a yeast exhibiting two forms of yeast type and mycelial type. SOLUTION: This method for transforming the yeast includes: culturing the yeast exhibiting two forms of yeast type and mycelial type in a liquid, filtering the obtained culture solution to prepare a suspension of the yeast type cells, and then subjecting the cells to an electroporation to transduce a gene.
