PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure proper getting-on or getting off, when a fertilizer tank is disposed above the step of a transplanter with which a seedling feeder is equipped. SOLUTION: This riding rice transplanter comprises: a travel machine frame 1, having auxiliary steps 17 on both the right and left sides; a planting implement 3 disposed behind the travel machine 1; a preliminary seedling feeding conveyer 7 for conveying preliminary seedlings from the front portion of the machine frame to the rear portion of the machine frame; and an auxiliary fertilizer tank 19 for storing a fertilizer, wherein the preliminarily seedling feeding conveyer 7 is disposed along either the right or the left side portions of the travel machine 1, and the auxiliary fertilizer tank 19 is disposed on an auxiliary step 17, with the side of preliminary seedling feed conveyer 7 being disposed side in the right or the left auxiliary steps 17.
