<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time for performing correlation processing of a code even while completing correlation processing in one code length unit without changing the correlation processing. <P>SOLUTION: The establishment of synchronization of a spreading code with an internal code in a received signal performed in a GPS receiver is performed on the basis of detecting a peak by using a shift register to sequentially execute a code correlation processing for calculating a correlation between the spreading code and the internal code while shifting the internal code by one chip at a time. During this time, a code pattern obtained by mixing two internal codes is generated when an operation control part sequentially repeatedly nesting an internal code about a satellite 1 and an internal code about a satellite 2 in a frame of the number of chips (1023 chip) corresponding to one repetition cycle of the spreading code by one chip at a time.
