<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve relatively simple system introduction inexpensively even in setting an enterprise newly using a plant information database in commonly using plant information between enterprises. <P>SOLUTION: In this system for transferring plant information between its own enterprise and the other enterprise, a server machine 1 is provided with a plant information database 8; a mail reception part 6 for receiving the plant information of the other enterprise by electronic mail; a DB format conversion part 7 for converting the received plant information into a database format for registering it in a plant information database 8; a mail format conversion part 9 for converting the registered plant information into an electronic mail form; and a mail transmission part 10 for transmitting the plant information converted into the mail format to the other enterprise by electronic mail.
