PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-lid exhaust structure for a storage battery capable of preventing an electrolyte from leaking out even when the storage battery using the electrolyte is brought into any state, for instance, turned upside down. SOLUTION: This double-lid exhaust structure 30 for a storage battery is formed with a lid body 11 and an upper lid 12. The double-lid exhaust structure for a storage battery is structured such that a lid body barrier rib 33 partitioning the lid body in accordance with cell chambers of a battery jar 100 is arranged and an exhaust passage is formed inside the lid body 11; two gas exhaust holes 20 and 21 are respectively formed, on the bottom surface of the exhaust passage, in accordance with the respective cell chambers of the battery jar; a long tube 23 extending long toward the cell chambers and a similar short tube 24 extending short toward the cell chambers are attached to the one-side gas exhaust hole and the other-side gas exhaust hole, respectively; and the upper end surface of the long tube 23 and that of the short tube 24 are made flush with each other.
