PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmissive screen comprising a combination of a light diffusing lens array sheet and a Fresnel lens screen, in which the deformation of the array sheet and the lens screen is particularly decreased to increase the reliability so as to prevent parting between the light diffusing lens array sheet and the Fresnel lens screen induced with lapse of time or under severe environments, such as high temperature and high humidity conditions, and to improve the flatness, and further, to improve resolution of an image on a MD system projection television set and to improve image performance, while eliminating distortions. SOLUTION: Reliability for the screen in a severe environment is obtained by using a combination of materials for three or two layers of base material layers, constituting the light diffusion lens array sheet and for the base material layer of a light diffusing substrate for a Fresnel lens, constituting the Fresnel lens screen, wherein the coefficient, defined by the water absorptivity and the coefficient of linear expansion of each material, is within a given specified range.
