PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document shredder device capable of keeping a secret even in a state of unmanned operation. SOLUTION: A lid with a door latch and a paper sensor are provided in a paper feed part. Locking is released when a power supply is turned on and there is no paper in the paper feed part and locking is carried out when the power supply is turned off or there is paper in the paper feed part, and the lid can not be opened without being unlocked, so that the lid can be opened before the treatment of the shredder and after the treatment of the shredder and the lid can not be opened so long as locking is released during treatment.
