The claimed subject matter relates to systems and methods for processing messages in a wireless communications environment. In an aspect, a communica tions method is provided. The method includes establishing a communications link though an access component with a network domain node and enabling at l east one other communications link through at least one other access compone nt with the network domain node. This also includes enabling concurrent comm unications with the network domain node via the access component or the othe r access component.
