<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which has satisfactorily low birefringent properties and transparency as an optical lens and mechanical properties having no fear of causing a fissure in a sprue, a runner and the like in producing molded articles and an optical molded article prepared by molding the resin composition. <P>SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises a hydrogenated product (A) of an open-ring polymer of a norbornene monomer containing a repeating unit (a) derived from a norbornene monomer having an aromatic ring and a hydrogenated product (B) of an addition copolymer of a norbornene monomer having a repeating unit (b) derived from a norbornene monomer having an aromatic ring and an α-olefin, and the optical molded article is prepared by molding the resin composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
