PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evacuate a user to his/her home, office or the like safely, surely and rapidly, when a network stops its service, when a disaster occurs. SOLUTION: A display section 13 employs a display capable of displaying a map image. A GPS control section 24 and a GPS antenna 25 measure the position of the user's own terminal. A control section 10 detects a place frequently utilized by the user of the user's own terminal from coordinate data of latitude and longitude of the GPS, for example, obtains four places most frequently used by the user within one week, and computes routes connecting these places. Then, the control section 10 acquires the map data of the periphery of the computed routes via the Internet using wire or wireless communications and stores them in a map buffer 18 of a memory section 15.
