摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique, capable of simply measuring the viscosity of serum or blood plasma, using a small amount of a sample. SOLUTION: An albumin molecule known in particle size and mass much contained in serum or blood plasma is used as a reference marker to calculate a change in the diffusion coefficient of the Brownian movement of the serum or blood plasma albumin molecule is calculated from the changes in a laser scattered beam; and the viscosity of serum or blood plasma is calculated from the apparent particle size of serum or blood plasma albumin, on the basis of the Einstein-Stokes formula.
