ANTIVIRAL COMPOUNDS

The invention provides a new class of compounds exhibiting an inhibitory effect on neuraminidase (NA), hemagglutinin (HA) and structural M₂ protein bearing viruses. These compounds are also useful as inhibitors of the replication factors of hepatitis virus type C (HVC). The invention also describes pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds of the invention either alone or in combination admixed with a suitable and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
