The adapter has a block (1) made of insulated material, and a pushbutton (2) that is fastly connected at an electrode (3) of a catheter, where the pushbutton automatically returns to its original position. The block has a metallic insert for integration of a pacemaker and the electrode, and an insertion groove (4) is provided for the electrode. The block has two sections (1a, 1b), which are insulated from each other, in such a manner a bipolar connection is ensured in both directions of the sections, where the length (L) of the electrode lies between 20 and 80 centimeters. An independent claim is also included for a method for fast integration of a pacemaker and an electrode of a catheter.
