An information providing device for a vehicle, the device providing a vehicle occupant with information based on information sent from an information providing center. The information providing device of the occupant's vehicle performs first operation and second operation when the vehicle exits onto a road from a specific facility having multiple exits and located outside the road. In the first operation, the device sends vehicle-side information to the information providing center, where the vehicle-side information includes information on the time of start and time of exit to the road of the vehicle and information for allowing determination from which one of the multiple exits the vehicle exited onto the road. In the second operation, the device receives information on exiting conditions including a required exiting time at each exit, the required exiting time being calculated by the information providing center based on vehicle-side information received from multiple vehicles, and the device provides the occupant with information based on the received information on the exiting conditions.
