A mixing and delivery device for a bone cement precursor, including: a body having a receiving end and a dispensing end, the body defining a chamber fluidly connecting the receiving end and the dispensing end; a removable cover disposed at the receiving end of the body, the cover having an inner surface and an outer surface; a helical mixing device removably disposed in the chamber; and a vibration source operably connected to the delivery device; wherein the device is constructed and arranged to mix the bone cement precursor in the chamber, and to deliver the bone cement precursor from the chamber to a repair site.
