<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus capable of inexpensively improving visibility and design property by eliminating the indentation feel on the outer periphery of a prescribed design. <P>SOLUTION: Self-emission dot devices D are lined up in a matrix form. A prescribed design light emitting means makes the self-emission dot devices D arranged in a prescribed design region A<SB>21</SB>emit light thereby making the prescribed design be displayed.
