<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant monitoring system capable of acquiring the data associated with transient phenomena, and to provide its premonitory phenomena from the measured data by the plant monitoring system, having to without require increase in the capacity of a system instrument. <P>SOLUTION: Data that need to be stored in a recording part are plotted on an X-Y graph. First data is set to a reference point, as well as, a determinate point. The upper limit point and the lower limit point within the precision limits permissible in the data control are provided to second and third plots. A straight line is provided for connecting the upper limit point and the lower limit point with the reference point. The slope of the straight line connecting the first and second plots and the slope of the straight line connecting the first and third plots, are compared with respect to the X-axis. By adopting the smaller slope on the upper side in the Y-axis direction, and the larger slope on the lower side in the Y-axis direction, the second plot is set to a deletion point, if there exists a straight line that connects the reference point with the third plot in a zone made by those lines, and the third plot is set as a determinate point. Then, by considering that the third plot corresponds to the reference point, an operation part repeatedly performs the operations with respect to a plurality of plots, deleting a deletion point from the recording part, and recording a determinate point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
